Step behind the scenes of specialty coffee and discover the art and science of roasting in an intimate, hands-on experience.

Join us in our coffee shop for a small-group workshop (maximum 4 participants) guided by a professional roaster. You’ll work directly on a Diedrich 2.5 kg roaster, learning how green beans are transformed into the aromatic coffee you love.

What you’ll learn:
We’ll take you through the roasting process step by step, covering the 8 fundamentals of coffee roasting:

  1. Understanding green coffee beans

  2. Roasting phases (drying, Maillard reaction, development)

  3. Heat management and airflow

  4. First crack and roast progression

  5. Roast profiles and flavor development

  6. Identifying roast defects

  7. Cooling and degassing

  8. Storage and freshness

Take home your coffee:
At the end of the workshop, you’ll leave with a bag of freshly roasted beans that you helped create during the session.
